Join us today for a feast of music from the 1960s and beyond, primarily but not exclusively from the UK, consisting largely of what we today call "lounge music" but at the time was called "Easy Listening" or "Middle of the Road" (MoR).
We'll be hearing the go-go music of Mark Wirtz, instrumental arrangements of popular songs by such artists as Sounds Galactic and tracks from top production music library composers that were released on commercial albums - along with a number of pieces that will be familiar to British (and perhaps other) broadcast listeners as the theme music to popular series.
We'll also be playing the 1966 track by composer Tony Hatch and sung by his then 15-year-old sister Ninette entitled Push A Little Button which gives us the title of today's programme.
Then join us at 11am and 7pm Pacific Time (19:00 and 03:00 GMT) for the return of the ZBS Radio Hour with brand new adventures from Jack Flanders and Ruby.
Today's programme is presented by Elrik Merlin and produced by gullar sahir in conjunction with our friends at the Alexandrian Free Library Consortium of Second Life. You can listen to the programme in-world now at http://main.radioriel.org, or simply click here to start your player, if your browser is configured to do so.
