Today on gullar sahir's Main stream, our program features music from the "La Belle Époque", which is the late 19th Century through the transition to the 20th Century until World War I. We have a tiny sprinkling of music that is from after the war, but the majority is music from the late Victorian and Edwardian eras. You will hear waltzes by Strauss, early Opera recordings, Brass Bands, Popular Songs and Ballads, Romantic Classical pieces and much more!
