From the Library - Titanic anniversary

Today, in the early hours of the morning 99 years ago, a ship sank beneath the sea that was to have a profound effect on ocean travel and lasting hold over people's imagination some one hundred years later. From movies, to books, to historical Societies, the Titanic is a story that continues to cast its spell.

Music from today is from the Edwardian period, as well as some music from various Titanic films.

From the Library is produced by gullar sahir in conjunction with the Alexandrian Free Library Consortium of Second Life. You can listen to the programme now in-world at http://music.radioriel.org, or click one of the buttons below. Today's programme is presented by Edward Pearse.
