Caledon Harvest Festival - The Music of Caledon

Join us today as we celebrate the Music of Caledon in conjunction with the Fourth Annual Caledon Harvest Festival. It's being held among the sumptuous gardens and estates of Caledon Rothesay: do come and visit the stalls, vendors and livestock exhibitions by clicking here.

This year's event began yesterday (Friday) and runs through until Sunday, and throughout the period on gullar sahir's Main Stream we'll be playing some of the favourite music of Caledon. Today, Elrik Merlin has prepared a sumptuous collection that ranges from Celtic jigs and reels to waltzes, Victorian ballads and Gilbert & Sullivan - and beyond.

Then join us at 11am and 7pm Pacific time (7pm and 3am UK time) for the sixth instalments of our two serials from the ZBS Foundation in the ZBS Radio Hour! At the top of the hour, it's Dreams of Rio - Jack Flanders continues his journey in the heart of Brazil to recover a mysterious crystal skull; then at the half-hour, tune in for Ruby the Galactic Gumshoe in The Invisible World.

Today's programme is produced by gullar sahir in conjunction with the Alexandrian Free Library Consortium of Second Life. You can listen to the program now at http://main.radioriel.org, or simply click here to start your player, if your browser is configured to do so. Today's music is presented from the music library of Elrik Merlin.
For more information on the Alexandrian Free Library, current exhibits and the work of Consortium members in general, please visit the Alexandrian Free Library website, or one of their branches in-world.
