Our Engagement Photos

During our Christmas trip, Alex and I were incredibly lucky to meet photographer Max Wanger and his beautiful girlfriend Margaux in Los Angeles. We played in a park, with a giant pink balloon, and, somewhat bizarrely, on a trampoline at musician Mark Mothersbaugh's house. (Their friend was housesitting for him.) Max just sent us the photos, and we are absolutely thrilled; I have probably looked through them a thousand times. See many more on Max's website. Thank you so much, Max!

We're Engaged!

Alex and I are thrilled to announce that we are ENGAGED! Alex was a total genius and planned a surprise sail yesterday afternoon. He asked me to marry him as we sailed down the Hudson River, along the Manhattan skyline. After I said yes (of course!!!), he brought out a bottle of Champagne. The sun was shining and the boat was flying along. It was such a magical and giddy two hours! Afterwards, we went to an amazing Austrian restaurant, where we enjoyed a delicious meal and couldn't stop staring at the ring (the waitress liked it, too). We are now obsessed with calling each other "fiance."
